Short technical review of the work:

His work is part of abstract figuration, drawing and design play a decisive role in evoking particular time graphics solutions, this is compounded by the use of color, where the artist plays with a success   great color range studied in equilibrium with the pictorial textures used in many areas, the composition is subject to the conceptual content of the work, which highlights the impeccable technical execution with a correct and clear billing, language is characterized by its diversity tactile texture and valuation of lines, figuration is structured into levels of values near the surface composition, with emphasis on atmospheres palettes sienna, ocher and green, blending the mix   elements of nature, human figures and landscape environments. The practical experimentation with different materials   is a constant in his work.   The pictorial world is a very personal work is loaded with poetry and a sensitive lyricism.

Words to the catalog   Personal Exhibition "Baranda without   railings. "

Looking at the creative world that teaches us this plastic artist, we realize   its   infinite diligence. Also teaches in each frame between the sienna and ocher recurrent moods and a constant search of himself. Through these lines we note the many winding roads that runs through the artist in the labyrinths of memory, which merges reality and dreams    rise to these works, to realize that it is not engineer who lives in him who wanders in to make plastics, but a man who found   appropriate language to express their aesthetic codes in messages that hibernated in his inner world. For more than four decades of life Baranda was drawing lines and dots, shapes and colors you store on your imagination arming themselves with tools that allowed him to create this expression today still remains a unique and very personal creative style at times evokes a Lam even   Picasso at a time. In the silence of more than four decades it was motivating, convening and leading the creative flow that shows. Your spirit knows no boundaries, overflowing ideas metaphors in the assembly of configurations playing with perplexity, the licensing aesthetics and cultural hybridity of Cuban. Thus we see captivating as rising from the grower   jungles, the creator of landscapes harmonic   figures and human faces surprising, of totems, in multiple projections to each format mixed in with endless textures that give it an original background creaciones.Tal time to be born and raised in the town of Regla overseas in an era convulsed realities, where they joined each September   Christian, Catholic, Santeria, spiritualists, nanigos and all the people in endless processions of the Virgin of   Rule can explain the reading of these works that show us the language of magical realism that is going frame by frame recounting the life of a man who without fanfare of any kind, so quiet and steady at the beginning of this century left behind the rails supporting his expressive needs libertarian flew ahead of his creative imagination.
